It’s the middle of the year 2022. I was just about halfway through the year recuperating from my lower back pain that pretty much got me “semi-bedridden” for most of 2021.

Jobless and trying to find a new routine in my life, I applied and was accepted, to my surprise, into a full-time digital marketing online program that paid a small monthly stipend. Not a bad thing after all that mayhem the previous year.

After a while, the groundhog day effects started taking a toll on my mind.

Imagine the routine as follows:

Sleep,
Log onto my screen,
Study,
Complete back-to-back group projects under crunch time.

At one point, I felt like I was living outside of “Time”. Yet “Time” had her way of casting her impact on me when the bills arrived end of each month.

As a middle-aged “student”, I sought to add physical activities that were within my physical ability as a way to balance the full-time program which is fully remote and desk-bound.

The Path Less Trodden That Took Me By Surprise
